Anybody had success with anti magnetic texture WW2 german armour?
Zimmerit is far easier than it’s often made out to be. A thin layer of filler putty is not hard to apply at all with a spatula, and you can then drag a saw blade cross it before it sets. Just practice a bit first on leftover parts, the underside of the hull, an old model, a bit of plastic card, or similar.
I've done it once with the Tamiya zimmerit applicator (available from John) and knifing putty. It came out OK, but if I did it again I would use a putty that took longer to go off.
