    Some advice...

Hello chaps, hope you're all ok!

    I have a paint / varnish / wash query.

I used to spray enamel onto my builds, varnish with VMS then use enamel wash (Humbrol premade) with good results.

I've now moved onto Acrylic Vallejo air which I'm enjoying.

So, my question before I venture into the unknown is:

    I apply paint/varnish/wash like so:

    1. Primer
    2. Vallejo air Base paints
    3. Vallejo Mecha gloss varnish
    4.

Now 4 is the question... Will using Humbrol premade enamel wash going to 'attack' my paint or varnish or will it be ok?

I've let primer/paint/varnish dry for over 24hrs, so I'm happy it's all dry enough... But when I use Humbrol to panel wash I brush excess wash away with a damp brush of white spirit.....which is my concern, or am I worrying over nothing?

    Again thank you in advance

Update.... tried my usual method on an inconspicuous part of the aircraft and the varnish doesn't seem fazed by the white spirit and I'm getting the same effect as I did enamels...I did read that white spirit was not as damaging as other spirits so perhaps that's the reason all good?

Sorry, I was going to reply that I've used the Humbrol washes over Vallejo acrylics with Galeria varnish, withno problems.
