Is it possible to use "Sharpies" for fine lines over acrylic paints, or would that be classed as a dumb question
Just a random question ?

Don’t see why not. I occasionally use technical pens for fine lines, and that is a fairly similar idea.Comment

I tried sharpies but I found that they were not very effective. Much better are Posca paint pens. Get the ones with a fine tip. I use them all the time now mostly for knobs and switches.Comment

For me I use a speck of paint on a fine brush. More accurate.
Advantage go all little astray water on a cotton bud to the rescue.
Permanent markers are permanent as soon as you hit the plastic.
Also hate when I have used pressing on the nib to produce ink. Nothing happens & then the whole thing floods.
Tut having one of my bad grumbly days. Never mind Tuesday is an even number day.
