Halfords plastic primer is fine but I've found it doesn't last a long as using an airbrush with for example Vallejo primer, I've been using a little 17ml pot for a while and done quite a bit of priming with it, I find I get a finer and more even coating with an airbrushComment

The Halfords acrylic primers are good but possibly a bit limited for detail work. The spray is quite heavy and I think on 1/35th or less you could loose detail. I use them a lot but for big stuff such as boat hulls etc. You can get a very good finish though and they are extreemly convenient, what are you thinking of spraying?
Do Tamiya or Humbrol have a primer in thier mini rattle can ranges? Just a thought.Comment
