    Glueing painted parts together

    Hi all

just spent hours painting tools on a tank once the tank has been painted and tools already glued. Can anyone recommend a method or glue to stick the tools once they have been painted , PVA for example, would the paint need to be varnished to stop a reaction to the glue.

    Regards

PVA will work directly on the paint, as will CA (superglue). You might get a little bit of a shiny spot, but that is easily cured with bit of matt varnish or some strategic weathering.

I normally use CA for this as you can get away with the tiniest dab, the down side is if you get it in the wrong place you'll damage the paint getting it off.

A PVA like Gator grip or Microscale Kristal Klear are more forgiving, and excess can be removed with water whilst its wet.
