    Blonde hair

I need to make some German blonde hair for a pilot (1/35). Any one got any ideas on what colours/proportions I would use please?

    Thanks

Same colours as you would use for Swedish blonds?

    :-P

I would suggest a darkish yellow for depth, then a Light golden yellow for the texture. Finish it off with the highlights in an almost white yellow.

Many thanks Ian. I'm grateful for your reply, however it's way over my head. I'm only a novice. I think my pilot will have to have brown hair.

basically ians saying paint it dark yellow first, then follow the contours of the hair with lighter yellow lines, finish it off with a very light yellow that just brushes the high points of the moulding. this will give a nice combination of colours instead of a flat single coat of paint.

Thank you Colin and Sorry Aiden I got a bit carried away.

I recall the first hatless figure I did ended up having a bald head. Job done!! LOL
