    Which White for Brushing ?

    Hi to all

    Hope someone can give advice please. when painting anything large or micro with White Paint Matt or Gloss it always seems yucky & thick i have used Revell and Tamiya should i thin it out more or does anyone know a

    Captain. White is about as bad as yellow. The very devil.

    Vallejo Model Air is good for brushing (it is for air brushing) but you need many coats as it will appear thin with hand brushing. Also used for small pieces, hand brushing, Vallejo Model which is basically for hand brushing. You can thin both products with their thinner (best to use their thinner) to get the consistency best for hand brushing.

      A light coloured primer is my first step.

      When spraying larger areas I build up several light coats and don't see why brush painting would be any different. I use primarily enamels rather than acrylics and find gloss covers better but I've no idea why or if that is just my perception.
