    varnish too shiny.

i picked up some humbrol enamel varnish spray, to seal my jagdtiger wheels for a wash and other associated weathering techniques. i put the wash on and other associated weathering techniques and now..the wheels are way too shiny to put on.

so i was hoping someone could tell me how to make them duller.

Humbrol Varnish IS one of those that really needs a good shake. In fact the best gloss finish I have ever gotten, was from Humbrol Matt varnish that didn't get shaken enough.

A quick splat of matt will see you right.

          And then some more. LOL.

I can only confirm this with regard to the jars. Not tried the sprays. I can imagine that the same rule applies to the spray cans.

The sprays cans made by Vallejo, Tamiya and Humbrol all need shaking until your arm falls off.
