    Painting on top of Klear?

Hi everyone, this question may already have been answered before and I appolagise if it's been asked by people before.

As a newbi who has never used Klear before, as i understand it this is a wax based substance,so my question is, once you have put a coat of Klear on your model, can you then overpaint on top of it? or will the coat afect any further painting?

Forgive my ignorance, but I wanted to check before i went ahead and used klear.

You are OK with Klear & Vallejo Acrylic Chris but not sure about other acrylics or enamels.

Just to add that a lot including me use gloss varnish rather than Klear. Just to add that is on the painted plastic not on cockpit canopies for which Klear can be used.
