    Paint Racks

I know some of you have made your own paint racks but I've just seen these over on Britmodeller. They certainly look nice. Not sure if the cost is ok though.

Hmm I use a set of Really Useful boxes, they start from around ยฃ4, the larger one I have stores the full range of Tamiya X and XF paints in one box.

They look nice but. My thoughts when making mine were to have them displayed so that the name or number was visible rather than to keep pulling them out until you find the one you want. Also makes it easier to store in sequence order.

My solution is a nail varnish rack off Amazon. I have two of them and the size is perfect for Vallejo paints, 66 per rack, 11 per row. It displays the labels perfectly and could have been made for the purpose. I have mine in number order so I can go straight to the right colour, Model Colour on one plus some 'spill over' from the other that is full with Model Air.
