    after 1910 to 1940,s building paint color,s

    Hi all after some info on German shops fronts, interior for paint schemes

    have try,ed to google it but have not come up with much at all,its for 1.35

    scale German street diorama im starting, so any help would be app

    From the paint schemes I've seen if the brickwork was showing they were red brick , if it was masonry then they were pastel greys and yellow

      i was thinking the same with the brickwork, to have some showing ,

      i did know there a pale blue as well used , but just cannot remember the name off it,

      well thats a good start, anyways,

        I think I know what your on about , I think it's a blue/grey , I've seen a similar thing over here in GB to break up a red brick wall and give it features but I couldnt tell you what it's called

          yes thats the one im thinking off, it was made for the Reich as a national color

          i did see one off your builds a German check point very nice indeed and the colors

          you used on the wall is what i think im after

              hi

              thanks for your help

              well i think its time to show what im working on

              the street i scratch made cobble stones with pavement stones

              the shop fronts i was given so had no real box artwork to go off,

              i think its a mini art nite mare kit so much filling,

              these are the colors i have come up with ?

                Hello Moni,

                I think they look fine for the base coat, and after washes and blending they would look great.

                  Yeah got to agree the colours are great and with weathering will luck cool , I love that road and pavement I don't do scratch I just buy the OO gadge flooring and walls and stick them together

                  Are you adding any vehicles to your dio ?

                      this is my 1st 1.35scale more up from 1.72

                      still needs alot off work the ,the main building colors were hold me back, just need to tone them down

                      and as said weather them as well,

                      with the brick i did over brick red and then , come back and paint in the mortar, then go back over ,

                      dry brush in more color , you can see were some has been done,

                      yes i will be adding to it but not really sure on what and how much ?

                      was thing to have some workmen cleaning up and some types of vehicles in it

                      i do have military police as i like the dog in the kit, and any other surgeons welcome,

                        You need to check out the scale of the washing basket in the window of the middle house, but apart from that, everything's looking really good so far!
