    Rag Application of Gloss Varnish

In Phil Flory's new airbrushing tutorials he shows a method if applying Klear (Pledge version or the original) with a lint-free cloth. Soak the cloth generously with the varnish and just wipe, another coat if necessary, once dry. I tried it this evening and the result was surprisingly good.

As gloss is usually used mainly to allow decals to avoid silvering and the gloss is coated with a matt varnish, the method could be good enough for that purpose. It saves cleaning the airbrush.

Interesting. I tend to use a soft flat brush the rare occasions I have used this floor polish thing- Just wash the brush in soapy water.

I have even heard of some one that dips their bodyshells for cars after painting them.......not sure about that one.
