    German motorcycle and sidecar

I'm about to start the motorcycle for my dio and seeing as it's 1944 the colour of it should be a dark yellow , I was wondering if the spokes on the bike would be the same colour as the bike or not.

    Thanks

    Is it a R75?

In answer to your question, yes, on all military motorcycles, that I have seen, the spokes would be the same colour as the rest of the machine, weather green, grey or yellow.

They did liberally splash it on according to some accounts i've read online, after all you dont want shiney bits negating the stealth mode theory

Your not wrong there, sometimes if the bike had another colour added over the original it would be daubed on with paint even dripping onto the tyres.
