My wife was the one who did that, strangely enough.

She and a friend of hers went out to Nanton one day in August to go antiquing but one of the stops included the air museum.

She took on the role of tour guide and started spouting off facts, figures and identifying aircraft to her friend, almost to the point of tedium. Things she learned from me and my hobbies, and her friend was shocked by how "into" the whole thing my wife had become. I've been a terrible influence on her...

I've got the Lancaster on its own pins now.

The wires hanging out of the bomb bay are the hoist wires which will be attached to a 4000lb cookie eventually.

Just the bomb bay doors and everybody's favourite lttle dangly bits to do, hopefully before Xmas, though senior management might have something to say about that.

      Cheers

        Oddly, your post (Steve/Stona) starting:

"I've got the Lancaster on its own pins now."

appeared in my mail box with an image because it is a watched thread, but no sign of it in the thread itself, ie.here!

That's because I deleted it and moved it to my Hasegawa Lancaster build thread where I meant to put it in the first place

          Cheers
