    Mr. Dissolved Putty V Mr. Surfacer 500 & 1000

I have both. I have used Mr. Surfacer 500 until recently for filling small cracks, pits etc.in plastic then sanding, polishing and painting. I know that Mr. Surfacer 1000 has finer particles than Mr. Surfacer 500, but how does Mr. Dissolved Putty compare with Mr. Surfacer 500 and 1000?

Mr Surfacer 1000 & 1200 are essentially primers rather than fillers, although both do work very well to fill small imperfections even when shot through an airbrush.

1200 is usually my primer of choice, thinned with Mr Color self levelling thinner.

        Cheers
