    silver pencil

    Hi guys and girls my question is what do you use for doing scratches on aircraft I have heard of a hard silver lead pencil being used not the larger wax type but I think they are not made any more any suggestions

    I used a silver pencil from WH Smith on my Typhoon - no special brand, just a normal one

      I use a couple of different Faber-Castell pencils, silver for chips, blacks browns for stains etc

        I find silver pencil useful for areas of wear like wing roots. I rub the pencil on some sand paper then apply the powder with a finger or brush. Chipping I do with paint and a fine brush. I don't use silver which is far too bright in most cases but an aluminium or even grey colour.
