    Rod Stewart's layout

Just in case anybody hasn't seen this in any of the media, quite some layout. - 26 years in the making

The rocker's astonishingly detailed 124ft long x 23ft wide model depicting a US city and its industrial hinterland in the 1940s contains hundreds of buildings.

I'm not a model railway lover but that is really a great bit of work! 124ft long!
      Great detail and effects.

I know that he is getting the publicity because of who he is, but that doesn't detract from the layout being quite remarkable. It must be a bit of a shame for him that it is in LA and he now lives mainly in the UK.

Shows what lots of skill, money and time can do! Fabulous.

PS I wonder if he's going to 'do a Ron' now it's all finished and been displayed?

That is a great layout. You can see the investment in it both money and time.
