    Model power n gauge compatability

    Hi all.

I was wondering,im a newbie wanting to start a n gauge layout,i was going to buy a starter set from a manufacturer called model power, does anyone know if these are compatable with other makes ie peco track etc..

What is your advice on starting a layout please..

i am pretty new to this too, but as i understand it so long as the tracks are in good shape then they should be compatable, i have peco, graham farish and lima track together so long as it is well laid you should not have any problem, there is a comment on this rorum about the code of the rails and the size of wheel flange... i run modern outline locs and have no problems....

I have different types of tracks in the same layout with no problem at all, you might have to cut away a sleeper or even file down the track if they are at slightly different heights.
