    HI Rick:thinking: that was down a right dastaly trick with the hair tonic lol :rolling: :smiling: but yes these trains with the smoke oil in i used to use in my loco's an i must admit gave me a skullacke to so i just cut it down to usein one train with it as it looked good smokin but i had the window open to let the smell out but it was all good fun

      An PaulE this layout is really comin on on lookin good an regards the points or turnouts as you call them will all these be eletrified ? as it goin to be a really complex layout an will you have a plan of the layout near where you are operatein the loco's from so you can see whitch point is facein where as on my layout i had with this ZERO 1 i had a miccromimic signal box with led 's in to show whitch way the point was facein so there was no crashes

          Paul I use the Cedar smoke oil they say it smells like the old Lionel post war smoke A couple rounds the layout and the garage smells so good. Click image for larger version

              Thanks Chris. Most will be manual as I lost patience after ten due to the large amount of turnouts (currently 28) and assoc. wiring. The actuating switches are momentary so have a label at each position showing where it was left, through or shunt. PaulE

                HI PaulE cheers for answering my question an you might have done as i now remember that i think i asked that a while ago but ive got a rotten memoriey gettin on im afraid but it looks like you have got it all covered so no crashes

                    COR PaulE that looks great with the blendin background lookin at it i cant see the join really fab railroad moddeling i take my hat off to you Sir an i love to see in your dummy loco now how about the real loco as have you got a engine both ends ? as some on a layout i was lookin at in a model railway show had them so they pull bigger loads

                      Thanks guys. Tried helpers on older layout w/o success. Broke a lot of couplers. Now use dummies for consists and shorter trains. PaulE
