HI PaulE, yeah agree what you are saying with permanent layouts taking up room , I had that with my last layout took up the whole pergola only enough room between modules, wanted to expand but with the expensive timber prices stopping that idea . Then I discovered garden 00/HO scale railway , nearly finished then we had to shift, now it is too hot and weather is unstable .

Keep the good work up and plenty of pics, Tony.

Some progress. I think this area is ready for trees in the dark areas. Then I'll concentrate on the rockface. PaulE

Some more progress. East & West sides ready for trees. I'm still working the saddle in the middle. C&Cs welcomed. PaulE

Thank you. Trees on hold for a bit. PVA (Elmers Glue) is hard to get. I think home schoolers are sucking up all the supply. Ballasting & gardening use quite a lot, but trees use even more as there's additional waste w/dip method. PaulE

Have you tried builders merchants Paul? It’s a good source of supply in the UK.

No doubt, but they're in the burbs. I'm trying to just buy local during these trying times & local (within a mile or two) builders supply houses are wholesale only. My local hardware store will get some in soon. PaulE

Elmer's acquired. Trees started, but 10 trees/hour is too slow. My old process was faster but took lots of space now taken up by the layout. Some pics below w/o undergrowth.

That really is looking very good indeed Paul and is coming on very nicely.

                          Keep up the great work.
