    Jidenco English Electric class 50 "Hood"

    A bit of a strange one for me as I shy away from metal kits but not this one the bogies came from the dapol deltic kit and the number 50031 is correct for Hood I am just awaiting the nameplates. Click image for larger version

      Looks good Peter. Very evocative. Are you going with spotlights or headcodes? I think these all wore spots by the time they became namers…..but I might be wrong.

        I can do the head codes but spotlights will be hard as the cab front and roof are solid castings

          Ah, OK. Headcode OOOO then . I think codes were discontinued around the time TOPS code numbers replaced the old D numbers.
