    Dapol prototype deltic DP1

    Finally I can call this one finished I used fox transfers and photo etch and flush glazed windows, two resin napier engines and some 3d printed pipes I don't normally take a lot of care over this type of kit but I wanted to get the best results I could.

      That's beautiful - although I reckon the only time you'd see one that clean would be the day it came off the assembly line.

        Very nice model, Peter.
        I had to google for that Napier engine and I was amazed by the originality of those engines and their sound. LINK.
        It seems it's a sort of Napier's trademark: the Sabre engine on Typhoons and Tempests Mk5 had a definitely original design too.
