Aero-space and vehicle club, Wombourne IPMS

    Hello all,

I've been looking at post from members in and around the Birmingham area and was wondering if any of you belong to clubs, if you do great if not perhaps you would like to pop along and meet some like minded people

We meet on the first saturday of every month and your more than welcome to pop along for a chat and a cuppa.

On average we have 20+ members attend each meeting all with a vast range of subjects covered and although I've only been a member since the begining of the year I'm told we will be celebrating our 50th birthday in 2015 !!!

Anyway, enough of the plug, would be nice to meet a few of you in real life, did I mention the pub round the corner from the club venue?

Our address if you fancy popping long is

The Aero Space & Vehicle Club - IPMS Wombourne -

    The Allen Memorial Hall

Mill lane, Wombourne Staffordshire WV5 0LE

    Cheers

    Adrian

Ade, I was waiting for the comment that the current chair of club was a ginger!

John, would be really good to meet you and will see what we can do with the request :-)

Stevekir another new member on the forum is hopefully popping along too and I understand one or two other newbies from elsewhere are coming so you won't be alone.

We are a mad bunch, particularly the new committee, so hope you'll enjoy. Certainly bring some builds if you like and fear not re quality as most of us including me are relitivly fresh to hobby, im also one of the slowest builders lol.

Certainly some skill in our club as there is on here, including a chap who won at nationals last year, and a good friend who builds custom trains for mr waterman and he is ace to learn from as his modelling is tops.

            Catch you later hopefully

            Richard ( Chair ASVC )

Hey folks, each year we have an open day to display the clubs efforts and open the doors to the public. Gives people the opportunity who may be thinking of joining us to find out more and to meet the members without having to necessarily come along to a monthly meeting. So if anyone fancies popping along would be good to see you,
