Hello All,
I've been dabbling in plastic models for as long as I can remember and my current "thing" is OO gauge model railways with a definite slant towards the 1972-1992 era in Scotland. I buy mostly RTR loco's and rolling stock and weather or modify them to as I fancy. Now and again I slip back to military modelling, for example, I am currently building a couple of the ex-JB Models Bedfords and Land Rovers to be loads on a military train I am building. I have also bought a couple of the B.W Models white metal Ferret armoured car kits and I am hlf way through the Bedford MK UBRE kit to go on the JB Models 4 tonners.
Weathering is my big interest right now and I have done two commissions so far and they couldn't be more different. I weathered a Heljan O gauge Hymek for a friend at the Andover Model railway Club with my new airbrush and then did a Fantasy Wargames type spaceship for another friend using some newly acquired MiG weathering pigments and washes.
Please take a look at some of my work on my blog; www.rickysrailway.blogspot.com

Ciao for now...
