I had to share this - how he does it with acrylics is amazing!

Very good indeed Patrick. Must take hours of patience for that detail to be achieved.

Can this be the reason you are turning acrylic Patrick ?

ps I love acrylics for model making. But if I go into BHS or M&S the acrylics in both

stores instantly closes my nose up and my whole faces starts to itch.

Pauline is not happy. As the effect has not extended to my tongue yet ha ha

Not quite, but as acrylics dry quickly, I'm wondering how the guy managed to achieve the shading & smoothness of his finish. Any attempt of mine would be rougher than a night in Kabul!

              Tell us more Patrick.

Can only think that he was putting the paint on very thinly which must give a smooth

finish. Perhaps he has also polished. Had a go at polishing acrylics and they do come up well.

Joking apart how are you getting on with acrylics Patrick. What do you think of them.

Interesting to get a view form some one who has been accomplished on the enamel front.

Thats right Laurie, need to use very thin washes, unload the brush and just build up bit by bit, and wait as it can take a while for the changes to show
