i have been lookng on the interweb for colour charts in all the differing colours and came upon this Urban's Color Reference Charts - Part II now i know there are lots of different sites but this place gives all the paint makers a lookin and also some references to colour schemes of the different countries prewar during and after hope its helpful to you all mobear

Another good one that many of us use is The Ultimate Model Paint Conversion Chart good for cross matching different brands to fine the colour you need in the paints you like to use.

Thanks for posting these My first kit was Airfix so I bought humbrol paints a long with it soo, Il probably get couple more Airfix models then I am going to expand and try some Tamiyas and stuff so these charts will be really helpful when I need to know what colors humbrol are to the tamiyas lol

Might I suggest if you are brush painting Vallejo Model Colour rather that Tamiya paints Scott. Tamiya are good (so I hear) thinned for airbrushing but poor for the hairy stick. I use Vallejo Model Colour and Model Air myself having switched from Humbrol. The Model Air are specifically designed for the airbrush.
