There are several good book shops about that deal with Warship books such as Greens that visit Ellesmere Port every year. The main problem is that the books you may be looking for are out of print and so cost a lot more than the original price.

White Ensign are also pretty good for getting paint pots for American and Japanese colour schemes.

An excellent source for books on ALL military subjects is here:

www.motorbooks.co.uk they are based just by Covent Garden in London as you cut through the alleys from Leicester Square, I have been in there many times, well worth checking out for their superb range of books.

They cover just about everything you need for this whole site regardless of what type of models you do, the list on line doesn't really do justice to them...I have spent hours in this shop alone....and spent a few bob too..!!!

        Regards.......Mark.

hi george, i was suprised at my find as the the book was in the 40% off section and is priced at £14 but with the 40% off came to £8.60, but i do understand what you are saying, i'm more over the moon on having found a book on the french sub rubis as i was unable to find any information other than pictures of one at the bottom of the sea. thanks paul.
