I have a sonic cleaner, not this one and I don't use it all the time but I do use it every so often to clean my AB and it comes out like a sparkly new pin, and mine was more than £24.99.

Oh and it's not just for AB's, it's good for jewellery and amongst other stuff false teeth

We had a large commercial one on a ship once and one of the lads decided to place the bodies of some main boiler safety valves into it. He left them overnight and when he took them out the next morning they looked like lace!!

Needless to say always read the instructions! They are a very effective piece of kit though!

John, what cleaning solution do you use with the cleaner?

Do you use enamels or just acryl?

I 'sort of' have one, , well, i did actually spot it and buy it for my missis on offer at aldi a few years ago which she refunded me for and uses for jewellery, (jewellery I ask you), mind you she does make the stuff, not just wear it.

I use about 3/4 warm water and 1/4 Medea Airbrush Cleaner and set it for about 5 mins, doesn't take long

I've got one that looks very much like that. I use a similar solution to John, just substitute Muc-Off for the airbrush cleaner. DON'T put anything volatile in as it will get hot and may have serious and bad consequences!!!

I strip and clean my brushes with it at the end of a project and have to say that it works very well. It always seems to remove a bit of "gunge".

                  Cheers

                      Steve,

Do you think it's ok to put screen wash as a cleaner.

I believe people do use it but i use airbrush cleaner i got from the forum shop. Also i use the thinner that is recomended for the paint i have sprayed with, again from the shop.

                        Cheers

                            Yes ,it's a dilute solution,i.e.mostly water.

Something like cellulose thinners would be a really bad idea.
