    Hunger Knows Not Fear

Bread or bullets, makes no difference to her anymore.
But she is lucky because being in a relatively quiet sector of the front these soldiers have their weapons inside the
vehicle to keep them clean and dry.

    She will get her bread.

You've caught the atmosphere of desperation and despair beautifully there Jim....if beautiful were the right word. Brilliant!

Thanks so much guys, glad you appreciate what I try to display in my work.
Not every aspect of war is brutal and cruel.

                      Jim.

Thanks guys, a bit chilly this one but some warmth still exists...even in war.

                        Jim..

Jim, my first (sad) thought looking at the pictures was that she wouldn't get her bread from that wolf pack... and you don't need weapons to harm other human beings.
Sorry, this time I'm more pessimist than you. :sad-face:
Anyway, another masterpiece depicting war (and human) horror. :thumb2:
