    Dogs of War 1:72

    Hi,

It is actually a vignette, but I thought it is the best place to put my new thread.

The build started from the bicycle:

Next I have modelled the Wehrmacht soldier figure (I used the Preiser figure to compare the size):

Having the skeleton ready I shaped it so it fits the bicycle:

Next I sculpted the body with Milliput:

Then I started working on the base:

Then I've assembled the figure and the bicycle...

...and put it on the base

Hello Peter, good to see you back on here.

What a brilliant piece of scratch building and a great subject. I can see you are as good as ever!.....5*

            Cheers,

              Hi Ron,

Thanks for your kind words. I've been very busy with my work and school so I had nothing to share over here. Now I am working on BMW R12 annected by Wehrmacht. It will be my first "civilian" motorcycle (gloss black paint and lots of chrome - we'll see if I manage).

              Regards,

              Peter

Superb you will have no problem storing your models if they are all this size..again stunning piece of work at an impressively small scale the detail would put a bigger scale builders to shame

                  Hi Geegad,

You are right. I have not much space in my flat and the idea of 1:72 motorcycles comes from that. Plus it is very convenient to go to a competition with four models in my pockets

                  Regards,

                  Peter

Oh my god, This actually made me laugh in real life. The insanity of this level of braille scratch building is absolutly Wonderful.

                        Terrific job Peter...im still smiling

                          Hi aaron,

I'm happy that you like my little vignette. Some time ago I realized that I don't need to be deadly serious with all my models
