Poor attendance!

Hi guys and gals. Apologies for my lack of contributing of late.

Had a few issues. Head's been Awol for an unusually longer period than normal. Added to that a contractor let me down which really pee’d me off. I lost my model building area as the contents of SWMBO’s she shed had to relocate to the garage! (my work area). That meant any further progress on the Helix was shelved until - who knows!!! That didn’t help with my head issue!!

I won’t be building for the foreseeable future but I fell now I’m in a position to at least read through all your posts and contribute where I can.

When you hadn’t been around for a while I thought you may have joined the exodus when the forum changed.

Looking forward to seeing you finish the Helix build when things settle down.

Thanks Joe, it’s not a mojo issue it’s more a medical head problem, (ptsd), and the garage full of bulky gardening ‘stuff’ that is/has preventing me. Already have plans for the future. Financial approval given for a new compressor so hopefully come the new year, (or before), I’ll be cooking with gas as they say!!!

Nice to see you back on line Doug. From one garage workshop guy to another I hope you regain your work space soon. There are some great group builds in the pipe line for the new year, well worth checking out.

I only started getting involved with the group builds this year and I have to say I have enjoyed doing them even if the subject matter is not your normal models of choice. Great for keeping the motivation going.

It’s all down to the contractor how long her gear remains in the garage. I’m relying on a British workman who rely’s on our British weather to complete an outdoor job!!! I can see this running into next year!! I’m doomed. (Oh, rest assured Tony, I won’t tell!!)
