OK, Patrick... after much thought, count me in. A one year deadline is way plenty of time, considering the other projects I have planned (not to mention the spontaneous ones I come up with) and I have been looking for an excuse to get a KT.

Well add me to the list as well. I'll figure out how to get hold of one when I get to it .
Come on, I've got some German armour paint that ain't going to keep forever, lol.
@dubster72 post a list with all the names and I will open a forum for it next time I'm at the PC.
Well done!

So the current list of people contributing to this GB are:

Patrick
Ian
Dave
Tommy
Colin
Monica
Si
Richard
Ian M
Brett

Anyone else who fancies joining in during 2017 is most welcome.

The rules are very simple.
The kit has to be a King Tiger (Tiger B for the purists!)

It can be in any scale.

Box art & sprue shots are at the individuals discretion.

The GB will run from January 1st 2017 to 31st December 2017.

Having fun is definitely permitted!

Thanks to everyone who's made this one possible.

Go on then, the thing that put me off tracked vehicles are the individual tracks, I looked at one of the Takom kits and there are like a million pieces, ok maybe not, but lots in track pieces, is there an easy way to do them?

There's a fairly simple way to do individual tracks John.

Lay out a length of masking tape sticky side up & add the links - see the picture below of my Panzer III track

Then using Tamiya extra thin cement or similar, apply it to the joins of each link. The cement flows in & begins to cure

Give it 15 minutes or so & then bend the length of track around the tanks roadwheels, as illustrated again by my Panzer III

The masking tape helps to keep everything together. Allow the cement to fully cure, then you can remove the track. Pull off the tape, paint & weather the track as desired.
Do the same with the lower run & when ready, join both together.
