    First Update:

    I went ahead and assembled the lower hull and the upper hull to see if there was a problem with gaps as a lot of people that have built the M3 have complained about. I followed the instructions and the casement went together as I expected it to without gaps.
    Some have even assemble the casement without the lower hull on a flat surface with no gaps resulting from doing it that way.
    My rear deck is not glued down because I need to install a part before I do.

    Photos of my results by following the instructions.

    PS: I used no rubber bands or clamps:smiling4:

      Nice one Tony, Takom seem to be turning out some very nice kits of late. I will watch this if you don't mind Tony.

              I cut the centers of the axles out so I can remove and reinstall road wheels before and after painting.

                  Hi Tony,
                  Looking good so far, I would definately not want to be inside one of these in a warzone.
                  regards Jim

                    You should read up on these. At the time they were pretty good against what the Germans had and sometime even better. When the Sherman hit the battlefield It was almost like jumpin out of the frying pan into the fire.

                        You're quite right about their early performance I just believe wjth that profile and my luck I wouldn't last long.

                              Hi Tony,

                              Voyager do two PE sets, Had to wait for the larger one and I'm trying to hunt the one down that the fenders are in.....

                              Good luck with it Tony. Word of advice, check plans against the sprues when you start the M 31. there are a couple of cases where they do not marry up.......
                              You'll enjoy the build....

                              Cheers Mike :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:
