    Revell 1/125 U-boat, another crusty-rusty.

Thanks to Dave (Gern) for selling me his 1/125 U-boat with interior, thanks mate.

I was pleased with how the other version came out so decided to have a crack at another.

This time I did a darker green colour to simulate the sub is at a more deeper depth, the interior also has a sparser look regarding debris. I also left out some of the torpedoes as I wanted it to look like it was near the end of its patrol when sunk. And, unusual for me, I did the main hatch semi closed and some damage to the conning tower, maybe this went down with all hands and is on the eternal patrol.

And for comparison, I took pictures of other one with interior.

I couldn't help it! The box sat there, staring at me, inviting me to dip into it and remove the bag of goodies from within...with that my willpower failed and it had to be built. Glad you like it though.

Wow Si!!! You definitely have a knack for the sunken sub look. Side by side, they are great and the underwater finish between the two that you have achieved is first class Sir!!! Nice work!!!.......

Prost (and staying on dry land)
