Nice paint job Mr T. Looking forward to seeing what colour scheme/camo pattern you choose.

      Simon.
Yes I agree about those flip lids, I just unscrew the whole thing now and pour it in to a mixing plastic shot thing, having done what you had.

Some very nice mods there, don't suppose the rest of the guys realise just how small and thin those links are, so brilliant that you were able to make one. Agree as well about the track support bar, of course not being a member of the Dark Side my track guards just hang !
      Great build.

Steve - there could be some green involved

John - cheers. Probably a good idea with the lid. Have checked and the thread is like nothing else I have so canโ€™t swap top

        Think the link was 8x5mm

Odd that they didnโ€™t get the support bar the right length

          Simon.
Well there were quite a few big errors when you come to think of it let alone that bar. Think it was a troublesome build, but am pleased with the outcome esp in my dio where the ground work hides a lot of of mine .:smiling2: Glad you suggested it.

John - well, only the entire suspension, engine deck, front hatches, guard supports...... hmmm, ok that's quite a bit for such a small beastie :smiling5:
I still rather like it though

Got their BT-2 now - looks ok in the box

              Simon,
Some lovely additions as one would expect.

                Well, it now has paint

Previously I would have just painted it green and have done with it but now I have gone and bought a 4BO modulation set so it now looks like a clown car

Hopefully it will tone down a bit with some washes etc

I was just thinking: that shading effect looks overdone to me With a bit of luck you can tone it down a bit with some additional layers of washes, glazes, etc.

I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve really got the hang of this painting lark :smiling5:

It's in the same colour scheme as your avatar Simon!

Does look rather similar doesnโ€™t it :smiling5:

I think I might overspray with a light coat of the base colour again to tone it down

Mud , that's all one needs , and plenty of it.
Really Simon I think it looks ok, it's small, lots of angles ,and with something that small the shading needs to to be pronounced.

I decided to go with an overspray of base green to tone things down

The shading is still there but now with more green tint than white

Nice work on the modulation. Good idea to tone it down a bit. Good luck with the weathering

That looks good now, definitely toned it down a bit.
