Very neat work. Looks as if the shape is developed nicely.

    Brian,
That is looking seriously good mate, I wouldn't have the patience for this kind of build.

Had a few pieces of flooring left over from the living room so decided to use them rather than let them sit doing nothing

That is coming along very nice. Planking is a pain in the butt. It is worth it in the end though.

Had to laugh this morning. I was half asleep when I read this and wondered why you would use flooring as planking. Then I realsied you meant as a work surface haha. Looking great Brian. This model has got some serious character

Well impact adhesive not working for me I find it a bit of a faff and everything sticks to everything so I'll continue to use CA even though my fingers are taking a battering.

Morning had a bit of time at the model table yesterday/this morning and decided to call this stage the messy stage (not sure I'm happy with how this is turning out ) but will persevere.

It's looking good Brian. Once a light sanding has taken place at the end of the planking, this will all clean up nicely.

                      Brian,
It looks the nuts to me mate especially if your going to cover it with copper tiles.
